Our History
Satheesh Kumaran Nair, popularly known as SK, is a leading birding expert in India. As a native Keralan he grew up surrounded by the extraordinary wealth of natural life the region has to offer. After a time criss-crossing India as a logistics driver, his dream of sharing his knowledge of the birds and wildlife of his home state became a reality when, in the late 1990s, an internationally-renowned nature tour company employed him as a birder for a group from England. He has been arranging and leading tours ever since.
SK now runs his own tour company, Birds on Wheels, and will personally tailor your trip to meet your brief. While primarily focussing on organising and leading nature and cycling holidays in South India, he also has a huge network of travel, hospitality and guiding contacts across India.
